The North East London NHS Treatment Centre in Ilford, run by Care UK on behalf of the NHS, has received another excellent satisfaction survey from its patients and has again consistently matched or outperformed the top 20 per cent of all acute NHS trusts in the UK.
 
Key findings of the patient survey results, which represent mean scores (maximum 100), include:
  • A score of 92 for patients saying they would probably or definitely recommend the hospital
  • A score of 98 for patients saying they were always treated with dignity and respect (Top 20% of NHS Trusts, 90)
  • A score of 94 for patients always having confidence and trust in nurses (Top 20% of NHS Trusts, 89)
  • A score of 97 for patients always having confidence and trust in doctors (Top 20% of NHS Trusts, 91)
  • A score of 96 for patients thinking the Treatment Centre was clean (Top 20% of NHS Trusts, 88)
  • A score of 94 for patients saying there were enough nurses on duty (Top 20% of NHS Trusts, 77)
Comments from patients included: “Everything to do with my operation was explained to me very clearly; All staff performed their duties with professional excellence; It was clean and bright and everything ran with clockwork efficiency; The treatment centre was excellent from the moment I walked in to when I left. It was very clean and everybody was friendly; All aspects of my treatment were first class; I was extremely impressed with my treatment and the service I have already recommended this treatment centre to other people; This was the best care I have received from the NHS; The hospital bays were spotless”
