Tour for Local MP at Top Rated Hospital

 Staff at Barlborough NHS Treatment Centre recently welcomed MP Clive Betts through its hospital doors.  Clive, a Labour Party politician who has been the Member of Parliament for Sheffield Attercliffe since 1992 and elected as a member for Sheffield East this year, was welcomed to the Centre and given an insight into the day-to-day workings at the top rated hospital.

During the course of his visit, the Sheffield Wednesday FC fan took time to speak to patients on the wards and those who were attending follow-up consultations, he also had a peek at day surgery procedures.

Clive who is committed to improving schools, homes and local services for the constituency and taking up issues which affect local people, understands how important short waiting times are for people who are in pain and in need of expert advice and treatment.   The Centre prides itself on its short waiting times and its extremely low infection rates, it has never had a case of hospital acquired MRSA or C.difficile.
