Treatment Centre sponsor local under 13's football team

Company news

Southampton NHS Treatment Centre have lent support to a local football team, becoming sponsor of the Pace Panthers Under 13 team from Totton in Southampton.

Pace Panthers were last season's Southampton Tyro Double Winners of the Tyro League Division One and The Tyro Cup at Under 12’s.  The Treatment Centre has taken over as the team’s sponsor, providing funding that has allowed the team to buy a brand new kit as they attempt to win a 3rd straight Tyro League Division One Title after winning three straight Eastleigh & District Mini Soccer Titles.

Rob Lomax, Manager of Pace Panthers, is delighted with the sponsorship:

“It’s a massive boost to the team for the new season to receive this sponsorship. A lot of our players had grown out of their old kit, so now we have a brand new one to play in thanks to the Treatment Centre. We’ve won the league for the past 5 years and achieved the double last year, so hopefully we can repay the Treatment Centre’s support by winning them again this year, hopefully showing them they’ve backed a really successful team.”

Paula Friend, General Manager at Southampton NHS Treatment Centre said:

“Our company’s aspirational mission is ‘fulfilling lives’ and we feel that by sponsoring Pace Panther U13's we are helping support a group of young players to continue to be successful in a sport they enjoy. They are a great bunch and everyone at Southampton NHS Treatment Centre wishes them all the best for the new season.”

Pace Panthers usually play at Testwood Sports College in Totton. but their first game of the new season is on Sunday the 5th September against Sarisbury Sparks at Totton Sports Club (formerly the B.A.T. ground).  All fixtures can be found on the Southampton Tyro League website.
