Pinetum has been awarded a rare ‘excellent’ rating by the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI) for the second year running.
The CSCI process audits a nursing home against 38 standards, ranging from quality to health and safety, staffing and overall service. CSCI inspectors combine their own on-site observations with documentary evidence and the results of questionnaires from residents’ families, professionals who work with the home and members of staff, to come to their final judgment.
Home manager Anne Hughes commented: “We are truly delighted to be awarded an excellent CSCI rating two years in a row. The result stands testament to the hard work and effort put into quality and service delivery by everyone at this home. To achieve an excellent CSCI rating once is marvellous – to attain it twice in succession is an outstanding result.”
