The heat is rising as our baking group have their first meeting

Home news

Residents were weighing, scooping and stirring this week as our baking group met for the first time and everyone in the home was delighted with the delicious results

Many of our residents have baked all their lives and are very good at it. We encourage lots of groups within the home because your life and interests don’t end when you move into residential care or you develop dementia. With a little bit of help, there is no reason why people can’t carry on doing the things they love.

The group of 14 residents made lemon and coconut fairy cakes which were enjoyed by everyone else in the home at tea time.
