Slumber Party at Hadrian House

Home news

You could have been forgiven for taking a second look at your watch on Tuesday as residents and staff donned their best pyjamas for a slumber party – during the daytime.

Staff came to work in their PJs and residents joined in for the day of films and fun. Activities co-ordinator Stephanie Campbell explained: “We held a fundraising slumber party a while ago and the residents enjoyed it so much they suggested we have another.”

As well as watching Pretty Woman and Hairspray, the residents indulged themselves with a chocolate fondue fountain, hot chocolate with marshmallows and dolly mixtures, as well as having a glass of low alcohol wine.

Stephanie said: “Everyone had a fantastic time. It was relaxing and fun and the fountain was a big hit – I couldn’t get near it!”
