Trusted to care in Gateshead
Hadrian House in Gateshead is a warm and welcoming care home where care is personalised to each resident’s needs. We provide short term and permanent residential care as well as care for people living with dementia.
Our Gateshead care home is arranged over four floors and each floor has its own dining room and lounge. This layout creates an intimate, homely atmosphere that’s particularly calming for residents with dementia who can find larger spaces unsettling.
There are seating areas dotted all over Hadrian House where residents can sit and catch up with visitors or read and relax. Residents’ bedrooms are also comfortable and spacious and each has an ensuite bathroom. Some ground floor bedrooms open onto our secure gardens, with their raised flower beds, pond, patio and lawns. They’re a lovely spot for enjoying some sunshine or watching the birds.
Every aspect of your loved one’s time at Hadrian House is tailored to their exact needs, interests and wishes. We plan activities around their hobbies, create menus to include the dishes they enjoy, and design care plans that will give them the support they need while getting the most out of each day.
At Hadrian House we provide a wide range of care. We always fully assess the needs of each prospective new resident who joins us, and will only admit new residents who we know we can fully support.Read more

I love working at Hadrian House. We have a wonderful team here, who I’m hugely proud of, and I enjoy all day every day. We’re working hard to achieve our goals, and evidencing the great care we provide, so we’re ready to match – or hopefully enhance – our rating at our next CQC inspection.Jane FoxHome Manager
