Come along to our summer fete

Company news

All the fun of a traditional English summer fete will be on offer at Care UK’s Hinton Grange care home when they host their annual July event.

The home, in Bullen Close, will be open to visitors for the fete on July 27, which will also include a traditional hog roast, hook the duck stall, name the teddy bear competition, bouncy castle, tombola and raffle as well as lots of stalls.

The home’s activities coordinator Theresa Bastille said: “We have some very talented residents and they are currently making lots of items for their stalls including greetings cards, decorative wind chimes and garden ornaments and cultivating seeds ready for our plant sale.”

The event will take place in the grounds and car park, which will be closed to provide a large safe area for the fun.

Theresa added: “Residents will be greeting visitors and taking part in helping to run some of the stalls as well as having fun with their friends and family.”

The fun runs between 2pm and 4pm and admission costs 50p.
