When Care UK’s chief executive met us - and the royal family

Home news

We were all delighted when we heard we were to receive a visit from Care UK’s chief executive Mike Parish and our residents were very keen to have their photograph taken with him and some other very special ‘visitors’.

Carol Bursill, our administrator, explained: “We have had the cut outs of Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge for some time. The residents are very pro-royal and they love Will and Kate. We also have a number of pictures of the Queen in the home.

“The cut-outs amuse the residents and they wanted to include them in their photo with Mike.”

Mike spent some time looking around our home and talking to team members and residents. Carol said: “He spent time sitting in the garden room talking to residents about their views on the home and the food and he was very friendly with everyone.”
