Kingsfield celebrates Halloween in style

Company news

On Thursday 31st October we celebrated Halloween in style, by hosting our very own Halloween themed event. This was a fun filled event which saw residents, relatives and staff all join in and take part.

Staff and residents dressed up in Halloween costumes and decorated the home, giving a spooky feel to the home. Staff wore scary masks and took photos of themselves, creating a photo board. In the afternoon residents had some fun, by trying to match the photos to the right member of staff.

The kitchen also got involved by baking Halloween themed cakes and a pumpkin pie, which the residents and relatives all enjoyed.

Hannah McKenzie, Activities Co-ordinater, who arranged the event said:

“All the residents, relatives and staff enjoyed the day. This was a fun day for everyone and something different to do”.

And there was one last treat for the residents, when a karaoke singer came in to the home to sing to the residents. The residents joined in with the fun too, passing a microphone around the room and having a sing along.
