Tall Trees care home donates £100 prize to local charity

We were recently awarded a £100 prize for taking part in the Care UK ‘Over to You! Survey’, a survey which gains a true insight into the opinions of Care UK employees. The team at Tall Trees decided to donate our £100 prize to the MS Society (Multiple Sclerosis Society) as we felt this was such a worthwhile cause.

Tall Trees invited David Seales (General Committee) and Maggie Burgess (Website Editor) to our care home, where they received a warm welcome. On their arrival they met the home manager, Katherine Foley and the rest of the team, after which they learnt a little about the care that we provide for our residents.  After this they were presented with a cheque for £100. David and Maggie were thrilled to learn that Katherine and the team are keen to participate in future activities with the MS Society.

Maggie Burgess said:

“We would like to thank Katherine and all at Tall Trees for making this gift possible and we

look forward to including and welcoming them to our future activities.”

The MS Society has written an article about the donation which was made, which will appear in the December issue of their magazine. They also invited the staff and residents at Tall Trees to attend a Craft Fair and Christmas Bazaar, which is being hosted at a local village hall in November.
