Tiltwood present cheque to Katz Castle animal shelter

After achieving 100% response rate in Care UK’s employee survey, “Over to You”, the team at Tiltwood were given a £100.00 cheque to give to a charity of our choice.

The survey, which collects information from employees across the company, helps to form a clear picture on how the service within Care UK can be improved across all homes and what we are doing well at.

We selected Katz Castle, an animal shelter and boarding cattery in Cobham, Surrey. They have been rescuing and re-homing unwanted cats for over 40 years. George, our pet cat, came from the local vets who have a close relationship with Katz Castle. He has proven to be a very popular addition to Tiltwood and the residents love him. Because of this, we thought Katz Castle was a fantastic choice to give our prized cheque to.

One of our residents, Betty McArthur, visited the cattery with some of the care team to present the cheque and thoroughly enjoyed seeing the many cats they look after. Cheryl Foulkes, who runs Katz Castle, was pleased to receive the cheque.
