Ventress Hall wear it pink to raise money for charity

Home news

Ventress Hall raised £251.70 for Breast Cancer Awareness month by hosting a coffee morning and dressing up in pink. All of the staff and residents dressed up in pink, and then enjoyed a selection of tea and cakes together. The staff baked pink cakes which were sold to raise money for the charity Breast Cancer Campaign. The kitchen also contributed by baking a large pink cake.

Judy Wray, Home Manager said:

“All the residents and staff got involved and enjoyed the coffee morning. It was a really fun day, dressing up in pink and eating pink cakes that the staff made”.

The home also sold raffle tickets to raise even more money, with a selection of pink prizes on offer, such as pink champagne.
