Trusted to care in Darlington
Ventress Hall is all about enjoying quality care and fulfilling days in a lovely setting. The team at our Darlington care home provides nursing, residential and dementia care, as well as sensitive end of life care. We also offer short term (respite) care.
Every bedroom at Ventress Hall care home is different - some feature high ceilings, while others open directly onto our courtyards. Each room has a 24-hour nurse call system as well as phone and television connections. Most rooms have en-suite facilities and we also have a few shared or double rooms that are ideal for couples.
Throughout the care home there are ample spaces to relax, socialise or to do activities. There are several lounges and dining rooms, a library, hair salon and a warm and sunny conservatory. Outside, our two courtyard gardens are a lovely spot for enjoying a cup of tea in the sun. The home and gardens are fully wheelchair accessible.
There's something happening every day at Ventress Hall, from baking and gardening to pamper sessions and exercise classes. We also have our own minibus, so residents and day guests enjoy exploring the local area, popping to the shops or out to a local park - even into the Dales.
Our team provides a full range of care, so we can continue caring for your loved one even if their needs change in the future.Read more

The dedicated and experienced team at Ventress Hall will provide your loved one with care that is completely tailored to their individual needs and wishes.
I love seeing the residents happy, and I enjoy seeing the positive impact of the work we do. We often have residents join us for short term respite care as they convalesce after an illness or operation. It’s wonderful to see them recover and return home.Diane EnciniasHome Manager
