Poole care home to fly the flag for St. George’s Day

The Potteries care home on York Road in Poole is hosting an afternoon of entertainment to celebrate St. George’s Day on Thursday 23 April from 2-4pm, and members of the public are invited to join in the fun.

All are welcome to enjoy afternoon tea and cakes at The Potteries and there will be live entertainment with local singer Paul Hammond performing music through the decades to mark the feast day of St. George.

Home manager Zita Turner said: “Spring has well and truly sprung at The Potteries and St. George’s Day on Thursday 23 April gives us the perfect opportunity to bring the local community together for afternoon tea. We hope people in Poole will take the opportunity to drop in and be part of our celebrations.”
