Mum was in respite care at The Potteries for five weeks. Staff listened and responded to her initial needs and preferences. The Potteries is extremely COVID friendly. Staff are supportive of relatives as well as residents. Despite COVID restrictions, the home has a very friendly supportive atmosphere.
Mum really enjoyed her time and is likely to return for respite care, or permanently in the future. Thank you to all the staff who made her stay so lovely, gave her a rest and enabled me to have a break. You are all caring, lovely people.
Relative of resident, November 2021My sister and I have just returned from our first visit to see Mum. I just wanted to say how lovely her room is and how the staff have been really helpful. Mum seems really well considering her great age and even she said ‘I like this room’. Thank you for all your help in this, it’s a great weight off our minds seeing Mum settled.
Daughter of a resident, May 2021To all the wonderful staff at The Potteries care home. Thank you! Mabel never missed an opportunity to tell us how fortunate she was to live in such pleasant and incredibly clean surroundings. Quite an achievement for a lady who could spot a tiny ant scuttling down in the grass! I know where I want to live if I should require a care home! Well done team!
Relative of a resident, May 2021To all the staff in the Dolphin Suite. Thank you all so much for all the care and understanding you gave to my very dear friend John Wilson. You all do a wonderful job. Thank you also for allowing me to talk each day to John.
Friend of resident, April 2021To all the staff at The Potteries, thank you so much for all the love and care you gave my Aunt. It meant a lot to us knowing how well you looked after her, particularly during this difficult year. Thank you.
