Care UK welcomes first residents to £7.5 million Cavell Court care home

The first residents have been welcomed to Cringleford’s newest care home, the £7.5 million Cavell Court.

Situated on Dragonfly Lane, Cavell Court is now helping to meet local demand for a range of care services, from residential, nursing and specialist dementia care, to short-term respite and sensitive palliative end of life care.

The 80-bed care home is on track to create around 100 jobs at Cavell Court and the first residents can now make the most of home’s facilities including a stylish and comfortable cinema, a well-equipped hairdressing and beauty salon, and a coffee shop. 

Home manager, Anita O’Neill said: “The team at Cavell Court is thrilled to finally welcome residents to their new home.  Every last detail here has been considered to create a high quality, luxury environment which will enable residents to live active and fulfilled lives.  From the moment they walk through the door, we do hope residents and their loved ones will agree Cavell Court is a warm and inviting ‘home from home’, specially designed to meet each individual’s day-to-day needs.”

Each individual bedroom at the care home will benefit from an ensuite wet room, together with a flat-screen television, adjustable profile bed, and 24-hour nurse call system.  There are plenty of safe and secure spaces for residents and their visitors to relax outdoors, with landscaped gardens, attractive patio areas, and a sensory garden.
