Party time as Stansted Mountfitchet care home celebrates first year anniversary

It was party time at Mountfitchet House in Stansted Mountfitchet earlier this week, when the care home on Coltsfield celebrated its first anniversary.

Residents, their family and friends, and the Care UK team at the home gathered for a very special party to commemorate a successful year for Mountfitchet House.  Entertainment was provided by Franklin Entertainment, who helped the party go with a swing, and Beatrice Pepperell, who was the first resident to move into Mountfitchet House, was invited to cut the birthday cake as everyone toasted to the care home’s first 12 months.

Mountfitchet House home manager, Allison Squires, said: “We were all incredibly excited to mark our first year anniversary.  Everyone felt it was an important milestone for Mountfitchet House and we all celebrated in style.

“The last year really has flown by and we are all very proud of Mountfitchet House – not least the warm and welcoming care environment we have created here in Stansted Mountfitchet.  We have had such fantastic local support over the last year, and we did not want to miss the opportunity to get into the party spirit and say a huge thank you to everyone involved in our success.”

Mountfitchet House provides a range of care services for older people, including residential, nursing and specialist dementia care, as well as short term respite, palliative, and sensitive end of life care.
