Ventress Hall’s Judy Wray wins Sales and Marketing Award at Care UK awards

A huge congratulations to Judy Wray of Ventress Hall care home who has won the Sales and Marketing Award at the Care UK awards.

The annual Care UK awards took place at Heythrop Park Resort in Oxfordshire on Thursday 19th November. The awards are a celebration of the great work, compassion and dedication of the staff at Care UK.  With 114 homes across the UK, we support more than 7,000 people to continue living active and independent lives in warm, safe and comfortable surroundings. This year, more than 700 nominations were received across 17 categories in the Care UK awards.

Andrew Knight, Residential Care Services managing director, said: “A huge congratulations to all our winners and a big well done to everybody that had been nominated, we really appreciate the great job you’re doing.”

Judges were impressed by home manager Judy Wray’s approach to sales and marketing at Ventress Hall. Judy takes full responsibility for the sales process from enquiry through to admission and gives excellent customer service every step of the way, going the extra mile to help meet the needs of customers. Judy’s approach includes a customer newsletter, regular networking events and excellent customer relationship management.

Winner Judy Wray said “I was so nervous on the evening of the awards; it was a lovely event and I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with my colleagues.

My team kindly made their own “Go Judy!!!” stickers for my colleagues to wear. And when my name was mentioned, it was a blur and before I knew it I was walking onto the stage, feeling so proud!”
