Plan your care for the future at Stowmarket care home

Home news

Residents in Stowmarket who are considering long-term care for themselves or a loved one are encouraged to attend a free event at Cedrus House care home  where they will receive expert advice on planning care for the future.

The free event will be held on Tuesday 26th January 2pm-4pm and will include practical advice from wealth management specialist Steven Hendrie and solicitors Emma Woollard and Karina Holland from Gotelee Solicitors.

Our expert speakers will provide an overview of the options for funding long term care, outline legal considerations such as making a will as well as offering their expertise during a Q&A session. The event will also provide an opportunity to meet the friendly team at Cedrus House, and take a look around the purpose-built care home and adjacent day care centre, the Cedrus Club. Complimentary refreshments will be provided.

Michelle Webster, home manager at Cedrus House, said: “Planning care for yourself or a loved one can be a difficult and confusing time. We hope our free event will help older people and their relatives to better understand the process of arranging long-term care, and to feel more confident to make the right decisions when the time comes.”
