Free advice event returns to Stratford-upon-Avon care home

The team at Ambleside will open the doors to the care home on Evesham Road on Wednesday 24th February for the return of its popular 'planning care for the future' event, which has been designed to provide support and practical advice for family carers.

From 2pm to 4pm, the team at Ambleside will be joining forces with later life advocate and planner at Lifestyle Future, Tim Field, and a solicitor from Lodders Solicitors for the free event.

The experts will be sharing their knowledge and providing practical advice on the options available to those who may be funding care in the future – whether caring for a loved one in their own home or looking at care homes – and providing information on legal matters including wills and power of attorney. 

Ambleside home manager, Dawn Leaver, said: “We are looking forward to opening the doors to Ambleside on Wednesday to answer any concerns and questions local people may have on the subject of planning care for loved ones and to provide clearly delivered practical advice. After the event visitors can take the opportunity to meet the team here and to a look around the care home. Places are limited so I would urge those interested to register their attendance.”
