Topping off a fantastic year, the team at Perry Manor opened the doors to the care home for a special party. The family-friendly event featured a variety of activities for people of all ages to enjoy, including live music from The Jookulele Band. Visitors also enjoyed balloon volleyball and tried their luck in a raffle.
The celebrations at Perry Manor coincided with Care Home Open Day – an annual initiative aimed at challenging perceptions of care homes, connecting residents with even more people in their community, and developing relationships across the generations.
Pushpa Sagoo, home manager at Perry Manor, said: “Our second anniversary was a really exciting milestone. It is great that it coincided with Care Home Open Day and we had the opportunity to celebrate with so many people from the local community.
“Our home is always open to guests, but it was wonderful to have a day to bring together visitors, residents and colleagues and show all the good work we do. It was pleasure to meet everyone and to give visitors the opportunity to take a look around Perry Manor. We all had a wonderful day and hopefully we have demonstrated how modern care homes are warm and inviting, while also strengthening our links with the local community here in Worcester.”
