All the fun of the fair at St Ives care home

The team at Field Lodge care home invited visitors to the home on London Road to share in the fun, games and celebrations at the home’s annual summer party.

The day included stalls selling handmade crafts and retro sweets, along with plenty of family-friendly games, including guess the weight of the cake, a best dog competition and a bouncy castle.

There was also a tempting barbecue for visitors to enjoy whilst listening to local musican ‘Banjo Bob’ who entertained reisdents and guests of all ages.

Lisa Houghton, home manager at Care UK’s Field Lodge, said: “We all had a fantastic time at this year’s summer fair, and it was a great opportunity for us to bring the local community together for a day of family-friendly fun and games.

“Here at Field Lodge, it is important for us to build strong relationships with the people of St Ives and we are thrilled to have seen so many people from the local area join us for our summer party.”
