Get creative at Worcester care home pottery workshop

Home news

People in Worcester are invited to a fun, free pottery workshop at Perry Manor care home on Saturday 17th September.

From 10.30am until 12pm, visitors will be given a taste of the range of activities which take place at Perry Manor with a pottery taster session. There will be the opportunity to try out moulding and sculpting pottery in the free workshop, which will be led by Lisa Tye from Queen Bee Art Workshops.

Everyone who attends on the day will be able to meet the Care UK team, take a tour of the care home and enjoy delicious, homemade treats baked by the care home’s head chef Peter James McGregor.

Perry Manor home manager, Pushpa Sagoo, said: “We are really looking forward to welcoming the community into our home for a day of fun-filled activities, and to give local people a glimpse of what life is like at Perry Manor.

“We encourage residents to continue enjoying the hobbies they have always loved, as well as giving them the opportunity to discover new talents and interests. The pottery class gives just a taste of the different kinds of events and activities on offer at Perry Manor, and we are all looking forward to trying a new hobby with our visitors.”
