Find out more about planning future care at Stowmarket care home

Home news

Local people in Stowmarket who are considering long-term care for themselves or a loved one are invited to attend a free Planning Care for the Future event at Cedrus House.

On Wednesday 30th November, from 10am-12 noon, the Care UK team will open the doors to the care home for the advice-led event.

Octavia Stoodley, from Ashtons Legal, and Later Life Adviser, Steven Hendrie, will be on hand to give local people professional advice and guidance about funding long-term care – whether it’s in their own home or in a care home. They will also be offering their expertise during a Q&A session.

Home manager at Cedrus House, Michelle Webster, said: “At Cedrus House we strongly believe professional knowledge, insight and shared experiences can make a real difference to the everyday lives of those planning care for themselves or for loved ones. We are delighted to welcome Steven and Octavia, both of whom are experts in their field and can provide guidance on wills, Power of Attorney and Court of Protection, alongside additional practical advice.”

“We hope all those considering future care will take the opportunity to benefit from their expertise.”
