Devendra Lallchand, home manager at Skylark House care home, has recruited a senior team with a wealth of experience. These include Allyson Ettiene as deputy home manager, Paul Sargent as head chef, Sue Kippling as head housekeeper, Tommy Cummings as a general maintenance, Dorota Woloszyn as suite manager, and Sue Rogan as business administrator.
Commenting on the appointments, Devendra said: “Skylark House is a state-of-the-art care home and, while every design detail has been considered to provide the highest standards of care, having the right people working in the home is crucial to the overall experience of residents. All of the new team members are highly experienced, skilled individuals and have successful track records in their careers to date.
Allyson Ettiene, deputy manager, who has previous experience from her role as care home manager and deputy manager, will handle the clinical side of care. As a trained nurse, Allyson will support colleagues in developing their skills and expertise.
Paul Sargent, head chef, previously worked in a school catering for over 250 students and will be responsible for creating resident menus that meet all dietary requirements. Following Care UK’s commitment to ensuring all residents enjoy mealtimes, Paul will be on hand to adapt the dining experience according to every individual’s likes and needs.
Dorota Woloszyn, suite manager, who has previous experience from her role as care home Deputy Manager. Dorota will coach colleagues and work with them on the residential suites to achieve and maintain Care UK’s high standards of service and care. Her role will prove vital as the new home opens its doors to the public and welcomes the first resident.
Tommy Cummings has worked as a general maintenance for five years and comes to Skylark House from the residential market. Tommy enjoys interacting with the residents and looks forward to making a difference in their daily lives.
