Find out more about planning future care at Mountifitchet House

Home news

Local people in Stansted who are considering long-term care for themselves or a loved one are invited to attend a free Planning Care for the Future event at Mountfitchet House.

On Wednesday 22nd February, from 10.30am-12 noon, the team will open the doors to the care home for the advice-led event.

Nicky Cave, from Eldercare and Alexandra Denison, a retired local solicitor, will be on hand to give local people professional advice and guidance about funding long-term care– whether it’s in their own home or in a care home. They will also be on hand to offer their expertise in a Q&A session.

Home manager at Mountfitchet House, Allison Squires, said: “At Mountfitchet House we strongly believe professional knowledge, insight and shared experiences can make a real difference to the everyday lives of those planning care for themselves or for loved ones. We are delighted to welcome Nicky and Alexandra, both of whom are specialists in their field and can provide guidance on wills, Power of Attorney and Court of Protection, alongside additional practical advice.”

“We hope all those considering future care will take the opportunity to benefit from their expertise.”
