Free advice event returns to Field Lodge

Home news

Field Lodge is inviting the local community to a free event offering support to people considering care for themselves or a loved one.

On Thursday 18th May, from 2pm-4pm, the team at Field Lodge will open the doors to the care home for its free ‘Planning care for the future’ event.

Wealth management specialist, Steven Hendrie, will be on hand to give local people professional advice and guidance about funding long-term care– whether it’s in their own home or in a care home.

Jane Ollett, partner and solicitor at Leeds Day, will also be on hand to discuss topics such as wills and Lasting Power of Attorney.

After the event there will be a Q&A session with refreshments, and those who attend will also have the opportunity to meet the team at Field Lodge and take a tour of the care home.

Field Lodge home manager, Katie Wilkinson, said: “The advice and guidance provided at this event has always been very well received, and we hope all those considering future care will take the opportunity to benefit from our expertise.

“We are delighted to have Stephen and Jane joining us for the event, who can provide guidance on the financial side of planning care, as well as covering legal issues.”
