Free care funding advice event at The Potteries

Home news

The Potteries is inviting the local community to a free advice-led event designed to provide support for people considering their loved one’s future care.

On Tuesday 30th May from 2pm-4pm, The Potteries will open the doors to the care home for its free ‘Planning care for the future’ event.

Independent specialist Amanda Cook, from Tilney Financial Planning Ltd, will be on hand to give local people professional advice and guidance about funding long-term care for their loved one – whether it’s in their own home or in a care home.

After the event there will be a Q&A session, and those who attend will also have the opportunity to meet the team at The Potteries and take a tour of the care home.

Home manager at The Potteries, Zita Turner, said: “The advice and guidance provided at this event has always been very well received, and we hope all those considering the future care of a loved one will take the opportunity to benefit from our expertise.

“We are delighted to welcome Amanda to the event who is an expert in her field and can provide guidance for those currently exploring care options. For those looking for more help and advice when caring for a loved one, our new guide, A helping hand, is available at the home and can offer further support and guidance.”

The Potteries has been designed to deliver the very best standards of care and to enable residents to live active and fulfilled lives. The home provides full time residential, nursing and dementia care, as well as short term respite care.

For further information on The Potteries or to book your free place at the event, please call customer relations manager, Rachel Wood on 01202 069 835, or email rachel.wood@careuk.com.
