Join the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party at Chalfont Court’s Care Home Open Day

Company news

Chalfont Court is inviting local people to visit the home on Saturday 17th June to join in its celebrations for Care Home Open Day.

From 1pm-6pm, the team at Chalfont Court will be opening the doors to the care home for a free family-friendly event. The day is in celebration of Care Home Open Day, a countrywide initiative to create lasting relationships between care homes and their local communities.

Chalfont Court has organised a mad hatter’s tea party to celebrate the open day. There will be a selection of tasty treats prepared by the care home’s chefs and entertainment throughout the afternoon including arts and crafts. Visitors can also join the mad hatter on his hunt to find his white bunny.

The friendly team at Chalfont Court will also be on hand to give advice and information on the different types of care they provide.

Linda Taylor, home manager at Chalfont Court, said: “Care Home Open Day is about connecting people and enriching the lives of residents by building lasting relationships with the local community across the generations.

“We cannot wait to open our doors to the community to showcase everything Chalfont Court has to offer and the difference care homes make to residents’ lives and their wellbeing. We have planned a fun day for all the family and a warm welcome awaits the people of Rickmansworth.”
