The team at Bowes House took part in a two mile circuit along the seafront from Eastbourne Pier to Holywell, which raised more than £200 for the charity.
Throughout the year, thousands of people of all ages and abilities join their local Alzheimer’s Memory Walks, all to help raise money for a ‘world without dementia.’
Helena Barrow, home manager at Bowes House, said: “We had a great time taking part in a memory walk along the seafront in Eastbourne for the Alzheimer’s Society, and we were thrilled to be supported by so many relatives and friends of Bowes House.
“At Bowes House we are always looking for ways of raising awareness of dementia, and this was a wonderful opportunity to raise funds for a charity close to the hearts of everyone at Bowes House. We hope the local community will follow in the residents’ footsteps in taking part in their own memory walk in aid of this worthwhile cause.”
