Community fete fun coming to The Potteries

The Potteries is inviting the local community to join them on Saturday 26th August for an afternoon of fun at its summer fete.

From 2pm-4pm, local people are invited to drop into The Potteries to join in the fun, games and summer celebrations at this year’s event.

Residents and guests will be treated to a delicious barbecue and there will be fun for all the family with garden games and plenty stalls for a spot of shopping. Guests will be able to try their luck in a raffle, and there will also be the opportunity to meet the team and find out what life is like at The Potteries.

Zita Turner, home manager at The Potteries, commented: “Hosting a summer fete provides us with a great opportunity to invite the local community to join us for a day of family-friendly fun and games. There is a real buzz around the care home already, with preparations now well underway.

“Here at The Potteries, it is important for us to build strong relationships with the people of Poole, and we look forward to welcoming those in the local area to join us for what promises to be a fantastic day of fun and games.”
