Family fun coming to Bowes House

Home news

Bowes House is inviting the local community to join them on Saturday 2nd September for an afternoon of entertainment at its family fun day.

From 11am-4pm, local people are invited to drop into Bowes House to join in the fun, games and summer celebrations at this year’s event.

Residents and guests will be able to enjoy an afternoon of entertainment, with live music from local singer and guitarist Phil Hudson at 11am, and a visit from local pianist The Hat Man who will be on hand to keep everyone entertained from 2pm. There will be fun for all the family with plenty of garden games including a tin can alley, and guests will be treated to a delicious barbecue and refreshments.

Helena Barrow, home manager at Bowes House, commented: “Hosting a family fun day provides us with a great opportunity to invite the local community to join us for a day of entertainment. There is a real buzz around the care home already, with preparations now well underway.

“Here at Bowes House, it is important for us to build strong relationships with the people of Hailsham, and we look forward to welcoming those in the local area to join us for what promises to be a fantastic day of fun and games.”
