Free advice event returns to Abney Court

Home news

Abney Court is inviting the local community to a free event offering support for people considering care for their loved one.

On Friday 3rd November, from 11am-12.30pm, the team at Abney Court will open the doors to the care home in Abney Hall Park for its free ‘Planning care for the future’ event.

Independent financial and legal specialists will deliver an informative presentation to help those caring for a loved one understand the available options for funding long-term care. They will also discuss the support you may be entitled to and what the NHS could cover.

After the event there will be a Q&A session where refreshments will be available, and those who attend will also have the opportunity to meet the team at Abney Court and take a tour of the care home.

Abney Court home manager, Tracy Mitchell, said: “The advice and guidance provided at this event has always been very well received, and we hope all those considering the future care of a loved one will take the opportunity to benefit from our expertise.

“We are delighted to have experts joining us for the event, who can provide guidance on the financial and legal side of planning care.”
