Rain doesn't stop the summer fun at Ventress Hall

Home news

At Ventress Hall, the focus is on having fun, so when the rain came down at the home's annual summer fair it didn't dampen spirits.

Residents and relatives were fully involved in planning the event, along with lifestyle coordinators, Helen and Gel. They came up with some great ideas for stalls and games including roll a ten pence and spot the ball. Most of the stalls had to be moved indoors but it didn't spoil the fun and the stalls raised over £700 which residents have decided to spend on a new hutch for their much loved pet rabbit.

Earlier in the summer, the team raised money for a tropical fish tank. Residents have taken a real interest in the brightly coloured fish and one resident, who kept tropical fish at home, is really enjoying taking care of them.
