On Friday 20th April, from 10.30am-4pm, Kingsleigh will be welcoming its neighbours for a fun-filled day of celebrations to commemorate the open day and the Queen’s 92ndbirthday. Guests can look forward to a fun morning of activities, including a sing-along and bowls.
There will be a delicious cockney-themed lunch on offer, including bangers and mash and fish and chips, topped off with spotted dick, jam sponge and custard.
Wendy Dodimead, home manager at Kingsleigh, said: “At Kingsleigh, we’re always looking for ways to get to know our neighbours better and build relationships with the local community. Care Home Open Day is a brilliant way of bringing generations together for a fun-filled day, showcasing all that the home has to offer.
“We look forward to welcoming the people of Woking for what promises to be another fantastic open day.”
