On Saturday 21st April, from 12pm-4pm, the team at Tiltwood will be opening the doors to the care home for a free family-friendly event. The day is in celebration of Care Home Open Day, a countrywide initiative to create lasting relationships between care homes and their local communities.
To commemorate the Queen’s 92nd birthday, Tiltwood has organised a royal-inspired party to celebrate the open day. With homemade crowns at the ready, entertainment will include a “Corgi Crufts” show, as well as a special performance by local singer, Denny Rich.
Emma Fox, home manager at Tiltwood, said: “At Tiltwood, we’re always looking for ways to get to know our neighbours and building relationships with the local community. Care Home Open Day is a brilliant way of bringing generations together, and we can’t wait for what promises to be a fun-filled afternoon.”
