On Saturday 19th May, from 11.45am, Chandler Court is inviting local people for a ‘right royal knees up’ and to raise a glass to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The home will be adorned with union jack bunting and residents will have their British flags at the ready for a live screening of the wedding. Festivities will begin at 11.45am, with refreshments including tea, coffee and homemade cake. Residents and visitors will have the opportunity to reminisce about their own special day as well as royal weddings throughout history.
Jo Gill, home manager at Chandler Court, said: “It’s been a busy few years for the royals, with big birthdays, anniversaries and new additions to the family – conversations around the Queen and her children are never too far from our lips here at Chandler Court.
“We’re delighted to be able to bring out the bunting once again, this time to celebrate the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. We’re looking forward to commemorating the big day with the people of Bromsgrove and raising a glass to the happy couple!”
