Little Holland Hall invites local people to a right royal knees up

Company news

Little Holland Hall is opening its doors to the local community for a special celebration to mark the upcoming royal wedding.

On Saturday 19th May, from 2.30pm, the team at Little Holland Hall is inviting local people for a ‘right royal knees up’ and to raise a glass to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The home will be adorned with union jack bunting and residents will have their British flags at the ready for a live screening of the wedding. Residents have been busy working on homemade crowns ahead of the celebration, and on the day the care team will be serving cream tea and sherry for all to enjoy as they watch the royal couple tie the knot.

James Foord, home manager at Little Holland Hall, said: “We were all so excited when we heard there was to be another royal wedding, and knew we had to do something to celebrate!

“Here at Little Holland Hall, many of the residents have fond memories of the royal family and the many weddings and celebrations over the years, so this is a brilliant opportunity to reminisce and share stories from the past.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming the people of Clacton to the home and to toasting the happy couple on what promises to be a wonderful day of celebrations.”
