On Saturday 21stJuly the home will welcome the local community to join its annual summer celebrations.
The fête will be officially opened by Martyn Underhill, police and crime commissioner for Dorset at 2pm.
Between 2pm-4pm, guests will be treated to live music from local musician Lea Martin,while browsing the many stalls on offer, including face painting, a tombola, a cake sale, a raffle, and much more.
The afternoon will be filled with fun for all, with an array of activities, including quoits and croquet. Guests will also be treated to a mouth-watering barbecue for a £2.50 donation to DEBRA, a national charity supporting individuals and families affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa.
Zita Turner, home manager at The Potteries, said: “We are delighted to be welcoming the local community and Martyn Underhill, for a day of family-friendly fun at our summer fête. There is a real buzz around the care home already, with preparations now well underway. We are also so pleased to be raising money for DEBRA, specifically our local friend Mason and his #FightEB appeal.
“It is important for us to build strong relationships with the people of Poole and we look forward to the community joining us for what promises to be a fantastic day of fun and games – we can’t wait to see the smiles on everyone’s faces.”
