Murrayside searches for Edinburgh’s most rewarding residents

Home news

Murrayside is asking the community to nominate ‘rewarding residents’ for the chance to win a £300 cash prize.

Ahead of the opening of Murrayside in autumn this year, the home is searching for local people or organisations who go above and beyond for their community, friends or family, and have a positive impact on the local area.

The winner of the ‘rewarding residents’ competition will receive a £300 cash prize and will be invited to cut the ribbon and officially open Murrayfield’s newest care home at its grand launch event in November. There will also be two runners up, the first will win £200 and the second will receive a £100 cash prize.

Janet Decourt, home manager at Murrayside, said: “We all know that one person who organises everything, is always there for others and never shies away from offering a helping hand – so here at Murrayside we want to say thank you.

“Whether they’re a volunteer at a local charity, a community group that really makes a difference to the area, or simply someone who goes that extra mile for others – share your story with us so we can reward them with the treat they deserve.”
