Community fun day comes to Tiltwood

Tiltwood is inviting the community to its summer fair on Saturday 1st September. 

From 1pm - 4pm, local people are invited to drop into Tiltwood to join in the summer celebrations, including games and activities, delicious food and live entertainment.

There will be fun for all the family with a cake sale, face painting, hook a duck, plus a game of 'Soak the Manager' and guests can try their luck in a grand raffle. 

Visitors and residents will be treated to a delicious barbecue, and there will be the chance for everyone to put on their dancing shoes with live entertainment from singers Denny and Elvis. There will also be the opportunity to meet the team and find out more about what life is like at Tiltwood.

Emma Fox, home manager at Tiltwood, said: “Hosting a summer fair provides us with a great opportunity to invite the local community to join us for a day of family-friendly fun and games. There is a real buzz around the care home already, with preparations now well underway.

“Here at Tiltwood, it is important for us to build strong relationships with the people of Cobham, and we look forward to welcoming those in the local area to join us for what promises to be a fantastic day.”
