Mercia Grange named best in the region

Mercia Grange is celebrating after being recognised as one of the best in the West Midlands. 

The carehome.co.uk Top 20 Care Home Awards highlight the most recommended care homes in each region of the UK, with awards based on over 120,000 reviews received from residents, and their relatives and friends.

This year, Mercia Grange received the prestigious distinction and was named among the best care homes in the West Midlands for the 2019 awards.  

Shirley Gibbs, home manager at Mercia Grange, said: “I’m so pleased that we have been named in the top 20 care homes in the West Midlands. This is a wonderful accolade to receive and testament to the team’s hard work to create a home-from-home environment, where residents are encouraged to remain as independent as possible, living happy and fulfilled lives. 

“To receive this award after opening just last summer is fantastic. Our ethos is focused around activity based care, and encouraging all residents to maintain their hobbies or take up new ones.
