A care home in Bromsgrove is inviting local people to join a free online event offering support for people considering care for their loved one.
On Friday 29th January, from 11am-12pm, the Care UK team at Chandler Court care home, on Recreation Road, will be hosting a free ‘Funding Care' event virtually.
Nicky Cave, an accredited care funding specialist from Eldercare group, will be on hand to deliver an informative session to help those caring for a loved one understand the options for funding long-term care, including how the care funding system works, and what state assistance may be available.
Dawn Covill, Home Manager at Chandler Court, said: “Here at Chandler Court, we understand that providing advice and guidance can be incredibly helpful for anyone considering the future care of a loved one, which is why we are delighted to host this virtual event.
“It is a privilege to be joined by Nicky, who can provide professional guidance in this area, and we hope local people will take this opportunity to benefit from her expertise.”
For anyone unsure about how to take part in the virtual event, help is at hand. The team at Chandler Court will host the event using Zoom, an online meeting space. Simply call or email Customer Relations Manager, Paul Chambers, and he will send a link to join the event and share his tips to make the most out of the session.
