Care UK colleagues are celebrating after winning two awards at this year’s Hotel Housekeeping Honours Awards ceremony.
The awards recognise exceptional standards in housekeeping, highlighting individuals and teams who deliver outstanding service and innovation across hotels, hospitality and care homes.

Care UK was recognised in the following categories:
Care Home Team of the Year – Halecroft Grange
Halecroft Grange’s housekeeping team impressed judges with their long standing commitment to residents and the strong relationships they build across the home.
Many team members have worked at Halecroft Grange for over a decade, providing continuity that helps residents feel understood and supported, which is particularly important for those living with dementia. As Head Housekeeper Bev Beeley commented: “When colleagues join the team, they tend to stay.”
Residents describe the laundry service as “beautiful, like my clothes have been to the dry cleaner,” and relatives note the team’s attention to detail and personal approach.
Head Housekeeper Bev Beeley’s leadership has shaped a close knit and motivated team who go above and beyond. From supporting special events to helping residents pursue meaningful roles within the home, no task is too big or too small for Halecroft Grange’s housekeeping team.
Care Home Manager of the Year – Debbie Moore, Cavell Court
Debbie Moore, Head Housekeeper at Cavell Court, was recognised for transforming her team and creating a positive, supportive working environment.
Since stepping into the role in 2024, Debbie has reshaped the housekeeping department into a cohesive and confident team.
She is known for the joy she brings to residents’ daily lives, from her trademark novelty socks that spark conversation, to the time she spends building friendships and understanding what makes each resident feel at home.
Debbie’s caring approach extends to her team, who describe her as “a fantastic colleague and leader, always leading from the front and by example.”
These awards are a reflection of the dedication of housekeeping teams across Care UK who play an essential role in creating warm, welcoming environments where residents can thrive.
