Our care home in Hailsham delivers the best of care to older people on a permanent and respite basis, including nursing, residential and specialist dementia care. We also offer compassionate end of life care.

Residents at Bowes House can enjoy a range of newly refurbished shared spaces, including beautiful lounges and a welcoming café. Each bedroom has a private ensuite bathroom and ground-floor residents have direct access to the secure gardens. Outside there are sensory gardens and wheelchair accessible courtyards - the perfect spot for catching up with loved ones.

Our Hailsham care home is situated near to town, within walking distance of many local amenities. The dedicated lifestyle team arrange a programme of one-to-one and group activities, as well as trips out in the home’s minibus.

We offer a range of high-quality care services, meaning your loved one can be cared for no matter how their needs change. We understand that everyone’s journey with dementia is unique, so our teams get to know each resident as an individual and personalise their care to their exact needs. We encourage residents to live well by creating a supportive environment where they stay socially active and embrace meaningful routines.

They have a dedicated lady who arranges activities for residents. There is always something going on and the residents can choose if they want to be involved or not. It is extremely well organised and well attended and they have a good variety of things from day to day... there is live music with a singer, they can dance or listen to the music... they have barbeques and tea parties... games and quizzes... there is something for everyone!

The care and attention that my loved one receives is fantastic! They know her personally. The staff are always engaging with her, cuddle her... if there is music they will dance with her. The care and attention she receives from the staff is above and beyond.

The menu is varied and the food is nutritious and tasty. I've eaten there a couple of times myself and was impressed! They cater for special dietary requirements and if the residents want something that is not on the menu they do their best to provide it for them.
