My favourite part of each day is in the afternoon when everyone is calm and relaxed and I can take time to chat to residents and ask about their day.

What others have to say

Here are just some of the comments we’ve received from family, friends and residents at Catherine Court care home.

When I knew that I had to find somewhere for Bill, Catherine Court was the first on my list. I was so impressed with smiling faces of welcome and caring attitude of the people I met or passed in the corridor, I made the decision there and then. I know my decision was the right one. You have all, without exception, been so kind to Bill and me too. I love you all and will never forget you.

Relative of resident, August 2020

Everything is satisfactory when it comes to Catherine Court. My dad wouldn't be alive without their care. My dad was given up for dead last year in the hospital.  I can't fault them.

Relative of a resident, March 2019

My wife was in another home but after a reassessment she came here to Catherine Court. It has so much more space to walk, it is paradise for her. The people here, from the front office, to the kitchen, cleaners and maintenance staff, and of course the nurses, are wonderful people. I have never known such a place in my lifetime with so much kindness and love.

Husband of resident, March 2019

They know what my father likes and dislikes and try to get him involved in activities. Staff are prompt to ring me if there are any concerns. One of the carers learned about football so they can sit and talk with my father. Staff asked for a history of my father’s family and staff know my father coached gymnastics for years and that he used to play tennis and football. I find that the staff are very helpful and friendly.

Mrs Carolyn Beaty, November 2018

Staff always seemed ready and willing to help in any way. When anything changed staff always told me and when I asked questions there was always someone there to answer them.

Susan Collins, February 2018
