Cleves Place is a ‘outstanding’ rated care home. Our dedicated team provides residents with a truly impressive level of safe and individualised care.

Our purpose-built care home in Haverhill, Suffolk, has become synonymous with delivering the very best in residential and dementia care.

We believe in supporting your loved one to continue enjoying the finer things in life. Each of our bedrooms has en-suite facilities and quality furnishings. When your loved one joins us, they will be free to personalise their room however they wish. Some ground floor rooms even open directly onto our lovely secure gardens.

We pride ourselves on the transparency of our care quality and fee information - ensuring you can trust us to care from that very first step.

The dedicated and experienced team at Cleves Place will provide your loved one with care that is completely tailored to their individual needs and wishes.

I love being able to make a difference to a resident’s life. If I can complete my shift knowing a resident has smiled and is happy I feel I have achieved my goal. I also enjoy empowering colleagues to do their best work.

I’ve been working in the care sector for over twenty years and I enjoy sharing my knowledge with new colleagues and watching them grow in confidence in their role.

It's amazing to watch the activities team... they get you singing, get you up dancing. Even if you are in a wheelchair you can swing side to side... they really lift everyone's spirits, they're just naturally happy people. They make such a difference to my loved one's quality of life... they sing with her, clap and laugh with her, cry with her, do everything with her.

It's such a huge decision to take when putting someone you love into care, and the team know I struggled with it… they have supported me through difficult times. They treat my loved one like a member of their own family, and me too! I have complete trust in them... I know I can speak with them about anything and they will be there to support us. They are outstanding!

The team really understands how to take care of people with dementia. They understand the disease and never hold challenging behaviour against the individual. It was very distressing for us to see our loved one's behaviour change, and they helped us to cope with it. They never once gave him drugs to make their lives easier; they took specialist advice from the dementia team lead and put a plan in place... they were with us every step of the way.
