Meet our friendly care team

It is the people who make our home a truly happy and caring one. At Edgbaston Manor, our experienced team of dedicated professionals all undergo Care UK's in-depth training programme. The whole team works to make sure that residents' needs are at the heart of everything they do and that personalised care is always provided.

Zoe Steventon

General Manager

Zoe Steventon

My name is Zoe and I am the General Manager at the home.

I have been a registered Nurse for 16 years and have ten years' care home experience too. I am very open and honest and welcome any feedback you would like to share. I enjoy spending time with my family, I have one daughter and my favourite place in the world is Cornwall.

Feel free to ask me about any queries or if you have any questions when you visit our home, my door is always open.

Andrea Webb
Deputy Manager

I have been working in the care industry since 2015 and my passion lies in helping people. Working with individuals living with dementia is incredibly rewarding and I enjoy working at Care UK as each day is different. I am qualified in Principles in Dementia Care Level 3 and 4 and also Level 4 in Lead Practitioner in Adult Care. This provided me with the knowledge to take on my previous role as Memory Care Lead.

I always seek to ensure that the overall wellbeing of residents is taken care of. Since taking on the role of Deputy Manager I am happy that I can still provide a high level of care and service for the residents at Edgbaston Manor. It is such a pleasure to see residents interact with everyone around them and enjoying the activities and facilities that we have at the home. Outside of work, I enjoy listening to music, travelling, and spending time with my lovely cats.

Natasha Hines
Home Admissions Advisor

I'm Natasha but everybody calls me Tasha, and I am the Home Admissions Adviser here. For the past three years I have been the home's Activities Coordinator which has given me such joy. My passion is working with older people, it is such a rewarding job that I take great pride in. It has been lovely to see our community grow in the last few years and I am so proud of the team that I work with, it really is a family environment here.

Anne James
Lifestyle Lead

I enjoy working at Edgbaston Manor as I believe in Care UK’s values – which is fulfilling lives, and what it means to support each resident to live life in the way they choose. As a Lifestyle Lead, I am passionate in creating fun and safe activities for all residents. It is equally important that every resident’s needs and abilities are considered. My favourite part of the day at the home is seeing the lovely smiles on the residents faces after taking part in the daily activities and knowing that they have truly enjoyed them. I deal with various personalities every day, and whenever I have successfully made a reserved and quiet resident laugh and interact with other people, it makes me proud and extremely happy.

To unwind, I always look forward to spending time with my family and friends, especially bowling with my beautiful grandchildren.

Kelsey Green
Business Administrator

I have worked in the profession of Business Administrator for over 4 years now and it brings me nothing but joy. I love that my job is all about making people smile, laugh and creating wonderful memories for the residents. I

n this environment you become one big family, which is another reason why I love my job. Seeing a residents’ face after something you’ve done for them or with them is like a warm hug in winter and who doesn’t need one of those?

Carl Cooper
Head Chef

I started out working in care just over ten years' ago as a Kitchen Assistant, I worked my way up to becoming Head Chef within my first three years of working there. The experience and opportunities that were given to me has helped me achieve the role I have today. I am so happy to now be working here and my colleagues and residents are amazing. I live in West Bromwich with my family and, in my spare time, my youngest daughter and I bake for the older people who live on our estate, a place that we have known for over 20 years.

Troy Grant
Maintenance

I decided to join Care UK because the job role closely matches my skills and interest. I have worked in the care sector previously and have taken on the role as Senior Carer for 5 years. I am a qualified landscaper and decorator and I believe that in this role, it is important to have high organisational and problem-solving skills. It is crucial that residents are always safe, happy, and comfortable in their living areas. There are so many proud moments working at Edgbaston Manor but seeing the smiles on the faces of residents and knowing that I’ve played a part in enhancing their daily lives is truly rewarding to me.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, listening to music and gardening.

Christopher Bullen
Resident Ambassador

I am incredibly proud to be a part of the Edgbaston Manor family. I am an open-minded person, and I am always open to new experiences and meeting new people. My wife and I enjoy cross country cycling and as a result, we have made lifelong friends.

Taking on the role as Resident Ambassador is truly a rewarding experience to me as it allows me to offer help and friendship to other residents, even if it’s only to chat over a cup of tea. This is a lovely home, and it has so much to offer to the residents living here. We live as a family here and you can lead a fulfilling life at Edgbaston Manor, with the support of the team here.
