Franklin House care home in West Drayton provides a range of high quality care for older people.
We are here to support you and your loved one through your journey into care and can offer virtual show-rounds with a dedicated member of the team. In some instances we may be able to offer visits via our garden. If you’re considering care for yourself or a loved one, call us to find out why we’re trusted to care.
Our team will get to know your loved one’s needs, hobbies and life story, so that we can tailor their care and daily experiences to suit them. Residents are at the heart of home life; they make decisions about the decoration of the home, the food we eat and the activities we do.
Different daily activities
We support your loved one to live each day in the way they want, joining in with group or one-to-one activities ranging from art and reading groups to helping around the home. Our fantastic location also enables residents to enjoy regular outings to the cinema, nearby parks and to the wealth of attractions in central London. Of course, with COVID, some of the activities may look a little different and all are socially distanced, but we’ve been able to work to run favourite things to do, and even think up some new ones.
Making life meaningful
To make living at Franklin House even more enjoyable – particularly for residents who are living with dementia – we’ve themed rooms and areas. There’s a reminiscence room, a music room, an area for sewing and needlework, a sports area and a beach area. We even have our own pub, called The Swan.
Each of the bedrooms at Franklin House has en-suite facilities, stylish furniture, a 24-hour nurse call system and phone, internet and television connections. On warm days, our large, secure gardens are always popular with residents. They can take a stroll, sit in the sunshine or even lend a hand with gardening.
